Xponent Advanced - M AUDIO & Traktor Pro 2 Marko K was born in January 1971 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From a very early age he showed more than an interest in music. He was born in a family of musicians and singers. His father was a professional classical guitar player. One of the rare musicians, at that time, who played a seven-string guitar. Also his uncles played other instruments like bass, cavaquinho and percussion. In addition, his mother and aunts also sang. As a DJ... In Brazil he always had his gigs at friends' birthday parties, gatherings and private events. In 1999, away from his hometown, he was invited to have his first gig at Arena Nightclub in Los Angeles, California. That was when his DJ career shot up internationally. Djing House Music around the world... Marko K. has already had gigs in Rio (Brazil), Los Angeles and San Francisco (USA), London (UK), Berlin (Germany), Oslo (Norway) and Moscow (Russia). Marco was born in 1977. He was raised in Edinburgh Scotland's capital city brought up on a diet of clubs and raves and the free party seen, Marco’s first real break came in the late 90’s when he entered the Vestax DJ Mixing Competition which he was runner up in the contest, this raised his profile amongst local promoters. Which lead to him being offered a number of gigs, some of which became residencies, around his home town of Edinburgh and various other towns and Cities in Scotland this also led to him supporting artist like Mr C, Kenny Larkin, Larry Heard, Marshall Jefferson, Robert Owens, Mathew Herbert, Felix The Housecat, Seb Fontaine, Jim Shaft Ryan, Murray Richardson and Timo Mass. Marco's rise from total obscurity has been achieved due to his natural ability, genuine enthusiasm, and his constant desire to improve his craft.Technical excellence is very important to Marco, so when he is not playing out you will find him practicing, mixing and experimenting with various styles, endeavouring to constantly improve his already very impressive D.J. capabilities. Marco describes his sound as Mainroom Groovy Business a bit of tech a bit of house which meet in the middle some where and the outcome is magical , he mixes in a style that moves and grabs any dance floor, no matter what direction he chooses to take it, once he has captured you with his inventive style there is no escape until he has spun his last tune .Coming straight from the dance floor, Marco knows instinctively what it is a crowd wants, and how to deliver it, his genuine love for music is abundantly clear. Goya MusicMan, a passionate DJ, started his music journey in 1999 at just 16 years old. What began as a hobby turned into a career spanning over two decades. By 2008, he was already performing as a semi-professional DJ. He built his reputation playing at clubs like Platinum Lounge (2008-2009), Café del Khuze (2010-2012), and Dukes Grill Lounge (2011-2015). From 2016 to 2019, he became a freelancer, touring with King Maestro in various cities across South Africa. Between 2019 and 2021, he took a break from club gigs to study political science but continued making mixtapes for his podcast, The Goya MusicMan Show. In 2022, he helped create music event concepts for The Sauce Lifestyle Café in Polokwane, including the successful PLK Plastic Affair, which ran until 2024 and featured international DJs. In 2022, he was hired by Seventh House Ltd. to produce a jazz mix for Eddie Harris. Today, he runs Goya Music SA, an aspiring record label, and continues to DJ, create mixtapes, and train as a music producer under Victor Duba at Lepatata Records. His journey is all about passion, growth, and pushing boundaries in music.

Behind the Open Source project is Angelos Mavros from Athens, Greece. Angelos began making music under the alias OutSid3r in 1999 and has been constantly improving his outputs since then. In 2004, he started releasing music under the name "Open Source", as he switched from trackers to a professional DAW. All of his productions include prominent melodies and deep ambience that reflect the producer's melancholic psyche. In 2005, Angelos founded Ghost Label records, a label dedicated to electronic music that has released the majority of his tracks. This is my second upload page (djvic67 is my first- but i can't upload there anymore for some reason). Music has always been part of my life, and I've been around for quite awhile now. i started djing back in high school at 14 but my love of music started when i was 5. ive played everywhere from house parties to clubs and even radio and will play anywhere the music takes me. this is a journey i started long ago and no matter where i am this is my passion. so sit back and take a ride with me and enjoy the music. living life to the max and loving it. ok so heres my story. about 30 years ago i went clubbing all by myself, sad!! i hear you say but not really is my answer as i loved what Djs done and wanted to do it. At first i used 2 portable cd players and a mixer that did not work out so well lol. i then upgraded to cdj's paid loads of money but still felt as if my work was lacking in areas my beat mixing was way off and i had high and low tracks which sounded quite bad in the mix. i then had some lessons in beat mixing which helped me loads. i joined up to house-mixes and met some very helpful people there who help me loads with my mixes im still very critical of my own work and always mix on the fly. i pay for all my tracks as i thank the ones who made them. i will give you my work for free so if you want a mix, message me and i will hook you up free of charge 😁 my fav quote: its better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. respect😁
